Join Melissa and Jess beyond the Tuscan sun June 1st - 8th, 2019. We are heading back to Tuscany for our third Yoga Retreat at Villa Valentina! This year we are spicing it up by incorporating gastronomic opportunities to satisfy the inner foodie in all of us. We will explore Tuscan food culture while learning about sustainable wine and farming practices from local craftsmen and farmers.
Join us as we make lifelong Italian memories practicing downdog under the Tuscan sun, taking day trips to wineries, Forte dei Marmi, Cinque Terre, Lucca, Florence, marble quarries, cycling under the Roman Aqueducts, hiking up the Vorno hills, playing tennis on the Villa's court, laps in the pool, a soak in the grotto hot tub, and more! Our host Valentina serves wine from her Italian vineyard while the resident chef prepares our meals from the fruit and vegetable gardens.
Here's a taste of what it's like at Villa Valentina

The closest airport to Villa Valentina is Pisa International. Flights can also be booked to Rome, Florence, and Milan!
To ease the time change, a few days in a European city before our Villa stay is encouraged. This year I am eyeing Amsterdam before flying to Pisa on June 1.

To flow freely with an ease around our day trips, we organize the group to rent a few cars. This will be an additional cost.

Villa Valentina is located in the town of Vorno, Italy. Located in a sweet spot just outside the quaint, walled city of Lucca and only a quick ride from the city of Florence and the beautiful beaches of Cinqueterre, Forte dei Marmi, and Portovenere. This 15th-Century restored villa has four acres of private grounds including gardens, vineyards, tennis courts, hot tub, sauna, swimming pool, private massage rooms, wine cellar, hiking trails, and even a 500-year-old pizza oven. This place was made to be a retreat!
Your days will be filled with waking to a freshly-prepared breakfast by the in-house chef, followed by yoga with Jessica and Melissa. Afterwards, you will have a full afternoon of exploring the grounds, taking a trip to a nearby attraction, or biking to the quaint Tuscan town of Lucca. An afternoon of meditation awaits while overlooking the aqueducts or a restorative practice surrounded by original frescos. Top it all off with an authentic Italian cooking class followed by dinner and an evening of relaxing.
